³⁹ But we are not of those ^(A)who draw back to ^[a]perdition, but of those who ^(B)believe to the saving of the soul.

⁵ Who is he who overcomes the world, but ^(A)he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

^5 (A)who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

^16 (A)He who believes and is baptized will be saved; ^(B)but he who does not believe will be condemned.

¹⁶ If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and ^(A)He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. ^(B)There is sin leading to death. ^(C)I do not say that he should pray about that.

¹² that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but ^(A)had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Stand Fast

¹³ But we are ^[a]bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God ^(B)from the beginning ^(C)chose you for salvation ^(D)through ^[b]sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, ¹⁴ to which He called you by our gospel, for ^(E)the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

^11 (A)“I greatly regret that I have set up Saul as king, for he has ^(B)turned back from following Me, ^(C)and has not performed My commandments.” And it ^(D)grieved Samuel, and he cried out to the Lord all night.

⁷ But ^(A)the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for ^(B)fire until the day of judgment and ^[a]perdition of ungodly men.

By Faith We Understand

11 Now faith is the ^[a]substance of things hoped for, the ^[b]evidence ^(A)of things not seen.
