This Melchizedek was king of Salem(A) and priest of God Most High.(B) He met Abraham returning from the defeat of the kings and blessed him,(C)

18 And (A)Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. (He was (B)priest of (C)God Most High.) 19 And he blessed him and said,

(D)“Blessed be Abram by God Most High,
    (E)Possessor[a] of heaven and earth;
20 and blessed be God Most High,
    who has delivered your enemies into your hand!”

And Abram gave him (F)a tenth of everything.
