⁵ ‘This is what I covenanted^(A) with you when you came out of Egypt.^(B) And my Spirit^(C) remains among you. Do not fear.’^(D)

¹⁰ Then the Lord said: “I am making a covenant^(A) with you. Before all your people I will do wonders^(B) never before done in any nation in all the world.^(C) The people you live among will see how awesome is the work that I, the Lord, will do for you.

⁴⁵ Then I will dwell^(A) among the Israelites and be their God.^{(B) 46} They will know that I am the Lord their God, who brought them out of Egypt^(C) so that I might dwell among them. I am the Lord their God.^(D)

¹³ Just as you, Judah and Israel, have been a curse^[a](A) among the nations, so I will save^(B) you, and you will be a blessing.^[b](C) Do not be afraid,^(D) but let your hands be strong.^(E)”

¹⁵ “so now I have determined to do good^(A) again to Jerusalem and Judah.^(B) Do not be afraid.

Moses and the Glory of the Lord

¹² Moses said to the Lord, “You have been telling me, ‘Lead these people,’^(A) but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. You have said, ‘I know you by name^(B) and you have found favor^(C) with me.’ ¹³ If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways^(D) so I may know you and continue to find favor with you. Remember that this nation is your people.”^(E)

¹⁴ The Lord replied, “My Presence^(F) will go with you, and I will give you rest.”^(G)

²⁴ and said, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul. You must stand trial before Caesar;^(A) and God has graciously given you the lives of all who sail with you.’^(B)
