30 Ngayon, sinabi ni Jacob kina Simeon at Levi, “Binigyan ninyo ako ng malaking problema. Magkikimkim ng galit sa atin ang mga Cananeo at mga Perezeo sa lupaing ito. Mamamatay tayong lahat kung magkakaisa silang lusubin tayo dahil kaunti lang tayo.”
31 Pero sumagot ang dalawa, “Pababayaan lang ba namin na tratuhin ang kapatid namin na parang isang babaeng bayaran?”

30 And Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, Ye have troubled me to make me to stink among the inhabitants of the land, among the Canaanites and the Perizzites: and I being few in number, they shall gather themselves together against me, and slay me; and I shall be destroyed, I and my house.
31 And they said, Should he deal with our sister as with an harlot?

30 Then Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, “You have brought trouble(A) on me by making me obnoxious(B) to the Canaanites and Perizzites, the people living in this land.(C) We are few in number,(D) and if they join forces against me and attack me, I and my household will be destroyed.”
31 But they replied, “Should he have treated our sister like a prostitute?(E)”
