Genesis 32:24-26

New King James Version

²⁴Then Jacob was left alone; and ^(A)a Man wrestled with him until the ^[a]breaking of day. ²⁵Now when He saw that He did not prevail against him, He ^[b]touched the socket of his hip; and ^(B)the socket of Jacob’s hip was out of joint as He wrestled with him. ²⁶And ^(C)He said, “Let Me go, for the day breaks.”

But he said, ^(D)“I will not let You go unless You bless me!”

²⁴So Jacob was left alone,^(A) and a man^(B) wrestled with him till daybreak. ²⁵When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of Jacob’s hip^(C) so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man. ²⁶Then the man said, “Let me go, for it is daybreak.”

But Jacob replied, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”^(D)
