Genesis 3:6-8
New International Version
6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable(A) for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband,(B) who was with her, and he ate it.(C) 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked;(D) so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.(E)
8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking(F) in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid(G) from the Lord God among the trees of the garden.
John 3:17-21
New International Version
17 For God did not send his Son into the world(A) to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.(B) 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned,(C) but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.(D) 19 This is the verdict: Light(E) has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.(F) 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed.(G) 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
Revelation 21:1-5
New International Version
A New Heaven and a New Earth
21 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”[a](A) for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away,(B) and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City,(C) the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,(D) prepared as a bride(E) beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them.(F) They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.(G) 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes.(H) There will be no more death’[b](I) or mourning or crying or pain,(J) for the old order of things has passed away.”(K)
5 He who was seated on the throne(L) said, “I am making everything new!”(M) Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”(N)
