¹² Then he ^(A)said, “O Lord God of my master Abraham, please ^(B)give me success this day, and show kindness to my master Abraham.

²⁷ And he said, ^(A)“Blessed be the Lord God of my master Abraham, who has not forsaken ^(B)His mercy and His truth toward my master. As for me, being on the way, the Lord ^(C)led me to the house of my master’s brethren.”

¹⁴ Then he took the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him, and struck the water, and said, “Where is the Lord God of Elijah?” And when he also had struck the water, ^(A)it was divided this way and that; and Elisha crossed over.

¹⁵ Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is ^(A)My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.’

⁶ Moreover He said, ^(A)“I am the God of your father—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for ^(B)he was afraid to look upon God.

²⁴ And the Lord ^(A)appeared to him the same night and said, ^(B)“I am the God of your father Abraham; ^(C)do not fear, for ^(D)I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your descendants for My servant Abraham’s sake.”

^48 (A)And I bowed my head and worshiped the Lord, and blessed the Lord God of my master Abraham, who had led me in the way of truth to ^(B)take the daughter of my master’s brother for his son.

⁴² “And this day I came to the well and said, ^(A)‘O Lord God of my master Abraham, if You will now prosper the way in which I go,

¹⁰ night and day praying exceedingly that we may see your face ^(A)and perfect what is lacking in your faith?

Prayer for the Church

¹¹ Now may our God and Father Himself, and our Lord Jesus Christ, ^(B)direct our way to you.

^6 (A)Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with ^(B)thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
