2 Đức Chúa Trời hoàn tất công việc Ngài đã làm vào ngày thứ bảy, Ngài nghỉ mọi công việc Ngài đã làm. 3 Đức Chúa Trời chúc phước cho ngày thứ bảy và thánh hóa nó vì vào ngày ấy Đức Chúa Trời nghỉ ngơi mọi công việc sáng tạo.
4 Đó là gốc tích trời đất khi được sáng tạo, trong ngày CHÚA, Đức Chúa Trời dựng nên trời đất.
