³^(A)Then God said, ^(B)“Let there be ^(C)light”; and there was light. ⁴And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. ⁵God called the light Day, and the ^(D)darkness He called Night. ^[a]So the evening and the morning were the first day.
