Yahweh’s Covenant with Noah

²⁰ Then Noah built ^(A)an altar to Yahweh and took of every ^(B)clean animal and of every clean bird and offered ^(C)burnt offerings on the altar.

⁷ Then Yahweh ^(A)appeared to Abram and said, “^(B)To your seed I will give this land.” So he built ^(C)an altar there to Yahweh who had appeared to him. ⁸ Then he proceeded from there to the mountain on the east of Bethel, and he pitched his tent with ^(D)Bethel on the west and Ai on the east; and there he built an altar to Yahweh and ^(E)called upon the name of Yahweh.
