² Then He said, “Take now ^(A)your son, your only one, whom you love, Isaac, and ^(B)go forth to the land of ^(C)Moriah, and offer him there as a ^(D)burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I will tell you.”

²⁵ But Moses said, “You must also ^[a]let us have in our hand sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may ^[b]sacrifice them to Yahweh our God.
