¹⁵ So Yahweh said to him, “Therefore whoever kills Cain, vengeance will be taken on him ^(A)sevenfold.” And Yahweh ^[a](B)appointed a sign for Cain, so that no one who found him would strike him.

²¹ ‘If then, you ^(A)walk in hostility against Me and are unwilling to obey Me, I will increase the plague on you ^(B)seven times according to your sins.

²⁸ then ^(A)I will walk in wrathful hostility against you, and I, even I, will discipline you seven times for your sins.

^26 (A)And the light of the moon will be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven days, on the day ^(B)Yahweh binds up the ^(C)fracture of His people and ^(D)heals the bruise ^[a]He has inflicted.
