^39 (A)See now that I, I am He,
^(B)And there is no god besides Me;
^(C)It is I who put to death and give life.
^(D)I have wounded, and it is I who heal,
^(E)And there is no one who can deliver from My hand.

¹⁸ For ^(A)He inflicts pain and ^[a]gives relief;
He ^[b]wounds, and His hands also heal.

²⁴ And no one who dwells there will say, “I am ^(A)sick”;
The people who inhabit ^[a]there will be ^(B)forgiven their iniquity.
