¹¹ But ^(A)the angel of Yahweh called to him from heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.”

¹⁵ Then the angel of Yahweh called to Abraham a second time from heaven, ¹⁶ and said, “^(A)By Myself I have sworn, declares Yahweh, because you have done this thing and have not spared your son, your only one, ¹⁷ indeed I will greatly bless you, and I will greatly ^(B)multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens and as ^(C)the sand which is on the seashore; and ^(D)your seed shall possess the gate of his enemies. ^18 (E)In your ^[a]seed all the nations of the earth shall ^[b]be blessed, because you have ^(F)listened to My voice.”

¹³ And behold, ^(A)Yahweh stood ^[a]above it and said, “I am Yahweh, ^(B)the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie, I will give it ^(C)to you and to ^(D)your seed. ¹⁴ And your seed will also be like ^(E)the dust of the earth, and you will ^[b]spread out ^(F)to the west and to the east and to the north and to the south; and ^(G)in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed. ¹⁵ Behold, ^(H)I am with you and ^(I)will keep you wherever you go. And ^(J)I will bring you back to this land; for ^(K)I will not forsake you until I have done what I have ^[c]promised you.”

¹¹ Then ^(A)the angel of God said to me in the dream, ‘Jacob,’ and I said, ‘Here I am.’
