^8 (A)And I will give to you and to your seed after you, the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and ^(B)I will be their God.”

The Redemption of Land

²³ ‘The land, moreover, shall not be sold permanently, for ^(A)the land is Mine; for ^(B)you are but sojourners and foreign residents with Me.

¹⁵ For ^(A)we are sojourners before You, and foreign residents, like all our fathers were; ^(B)our days on the earth are like a shadow, and there is no hope.

⁹ By faith he sojourned in ^(A)the land of promise, as in a foreign land, ^(B)dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, ^(C)fellow heirs of the same promise,

^13 (A)All these died in faith, ^(B)without receiving the promises, but ^(C)having seen them and having welcomed them from a distance, and ^(D)having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth.
