⁸ Then he proceeded from there to the mountain on the east of Bethel, and he pitched his tent with ^(A)Bethel on the west and Ai on the east; and there he built an altar to Yahweh and ^(B)called upon the name of Yahweh.

²⁵ So he built an ^(A)altar there and called upon the name of Yahweh and pitched his tent there; and there Isaac’s servants dug out a well.

²⁴ Then you call on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of Yahweh, and ^(A)the God who answers by fire, He is God.” And all the people answered and said, “^[a]That is a good word.”
