¹⁶ “Go out from the ark, ^(A)you and your wife, and your sons and your sons' wives with you.

¹³ On the very same day Noah and his sons, Shem and Ham and Japheth, and Noah's wife and the three wives of his sons with them entered the ark,

³⁷ But Paul said to them, “They have beaten us publicly, ^(A)uncondemned, men who are Roman citizens, and have thrown us into prison; and do they now throw us out secretly? No! Let them come themselves and take us out.” ³⁸ The police reported these words to the magistrates, and ^(B)they were afraid when they heard that they were Roman citizens. ³⁹ So they came and apologized to them. And they took them out and ^(C)asked them to leave the city.

²⁷ When the jailer woke and saw that the prison doors were open, he drew his sword and ^(A)was about to kill himself, supposing that the prisoners had escaped. ²⁸ But Paul cried with a loud voice, “Do not harm yourself, for we are all here.”

^25 (A)Know therefore and understand that ^(B)from the going out of the word to restore and ^(C)build Jerusalem to the coming of an ^(D)anointed one, a ^(E)prince, there shall be seven weeks. Then for sixty-two weeks it shall be built again^[a] with squares and moat, ^(F)but in a troubled time. ²⁶ And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall ^(G)be cut off and shall have nothing. And the people of the prince who is to come ^(H)shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. ^(I)Its^[b] end shall come with a flood, ^(J)and to the end there shall be war. ^(K)Desolations are decreed.

¹⁶ “Command the priests bearing ^(A)the ark of the testimony to come up out of the Jordan.” ¹⁷ So Joshua commanded the priests, “Come up out of the Jordan.” ¹⁸ And when the priests bearing the ark of the covenant of the Lord came up from the midst of the Jordan, and the soles of the priests' feet were lifted up on dry ground, the waters of the Jordan returned to their place and overflowed all its banks, ^(B)as before.
