8 But God remembered^(A) Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and he sent a wind over the earth,^(B) and the waters receded.

¹⁹ Early the next morning they arose and worshiped before the Lord and then went back to their home at Ramah.^(A) Elkanah made love to his wife Hannah, and the Lord remembered^(B) her.

²² Then God remembered Rachel;^(A) he listened to her^(B) and enabled her to conceive.^(C)

²⁹ So when God destroyed the cities of the plain,^(A) he remembered^(B) Abraham, and he brought Lot out of the catastrophe^(C) that overthrew the cities where Lot had lived.^(D)

²⁴ God heard their groaning and he remembered^(A) his covenant^(B) with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob.

²¹ Then Moses stretched out his hand^(A) over the sea,^(B) and all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind^(C) and turned it into dry land.^(D) The waters were divided,^(E)

⁷ The Lord has sworn by himself, the Pride of Jacob:^(A) “I will never forget^(B) anything they have done.^(C)
