⁵ And Noah did all that the Lord commanded him.^(A)

²² Noah did everything just as God commanded him.^(A)

⁸ Son^(A) though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered^(B)

¹⁷ Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.^(A)

²⁸ So Jesus said, “When you have lifted up^[a] the Son of Man,^(A) then you will know that I am he and that I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught me.^{(B) 29} The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone,^(C) for I always do what pleases him.”^(D)

⁵ His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”^(A)

²¹ He replied, “My mother and brothers are those who hear God’s word and put it into practice.”^(A)

¹⁵ Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented.
