²⁴ Then Joseph said to his brothers, “I am about to die, but God will surely come to you and bring you up out of this land to the land that he swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.”^(A)

¹⁶ “Go and assemble the elders of Israel and say to them, ‘The Lord, the God of your ancestors, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, has appeared to me, saying: I have given heed to you and to what has been done to you in Egypt. ¹⁷ I declare that I will bring you up out of the misery of Egypt, to the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, a land flowing with milk and honey.’^(A)

¹² The land that I gave to Abraham and Isaac I will give to you, and I will give the land to your offspring after you.”^(A)

³ Reside in this land as an alien, and I will be with you and will bless you, for to you and to your descendants I will give all these lands, and I will fulfill the oath that I swore to your father Abraham.^(A)

¹³ And the Lord stood beside him^[a] and said, “I am the Lord, the God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and to your offspring,^(A)

²¹ Then Israel said to Joseph, “I am about to die, but God will be with you and will bring you again to the land of your ancestors.^(A)

⁴ I myself will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also bring you up again, and Joseph’s own hand shall close your eyes.”^(A)

¹⁸ On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, “To your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates,^(A)

⁷ Then he said to him, “I am the Lord who brought you from Ur of the Chaldeans, to give you this land to possess.”^(A)

¹⁷ Rise up, walk through the length and the breadth of the land, for I will give it to you.”^(A)
