The Sons of Seir

^20 (A)These were the sons of Seir ^(B)the Horite who inhabited the land: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,

²² just as He had done for the descendants of Esau, ^(A)who dwelt in Seir, when He destroyed ^(B)the Horites from before them. They dispossessed them and dwelt in their place, even to this day.

^12 (A)The Horites formerly dwelt in Seir, but the descendants of Esau dispossessed them and destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their ^[a]place, just as Israel did to the land of their possession which the Lord gave them.)

^6 (A)and the Horites in their mountain of Seir, as far as El Paran, which is by the wilderness.

^38 (B)The sons of Seir were Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan. ³⁹ And the sons of Lotan were Hori and ^[a]Homam; Lotan’s sister was Timna. ⁴⁰ The sons of Shobal were ^[b]Alian, Manahath, Ebal, ^[c]Shephi, and Onam. The sons of Zibeon were Ajah and Anah. ⁴¹ The son of Anah was ^(C)Dishon. The sons of Dishon were ^[d]Hamran, Eshban, Ithran, and Cheran. ⁴² The sons of Ezer were Bilhan, Zaavan, and ^[e]Jaakan. The sons of Dishan were Uz and Aran.

²² And the sons of Lotan were Hori and ^[a]Hemam. Lotan’s sister was Timna.

²³ These were the sons of Shobal: ^[b]Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, ^[c]Shepho, and Onam.

²⁴ These were the sons of Zibeon: both Ajah and Anah. This was the Anah who found the ^[d]water in the wilderness as he pastured ^(A)the donkeys of his father Zibeon. ²⁵ These were the children of Anah: Dishon and ^[e]Aholibamah the daughter of Anah.

²⁶ These were the sons of ^[f]Dishon: ^[g]Hemdan, Eshban, Ithran, and Cheran. ²⁷ These were the sons of Ezer: Bilhan, Zaavan, and ^[h]Akan. ²⁸ These were the sons of Dishan: ^(B)Uz and Aran.

²⁹ These were the chiefs of the Horites: Chief Lotan, Chief Shobal, Chief Zibeon, Chief Anah, ³⁰ Chief Dishon, Chief Ezer, and Chief Dishan. These were the chiefs of the Horites, according to their chiefs in the land of Seir.
