²⁶ And Laban said to Jacob, “What have you done, that you have ^(A)tricked me and driven away my daughters like captives of the sword?

² and taken captive the women and all^[a] who were in it, both small and great. They killed no one, but carried them off and went their way.

²⁹ And David said, “What have I done now? Was it not but a word?”

⁴³ Then Saul said to Jonathan, ^(A)“Tell me what you have done.” And Jonathan told him, ^(B)“I tasted a little honey with the tip of the staff that was in my hand. Here I am; I will die.”

¹⁹ Then Joshua said to Achan, “My son, ^(A)give glory to the Lord God of Israel and ^(B)give praise^[a] to him. And ^(C)tell me now what you have done; do not hide it from me.”

²⁹ All their wealth, all their little ones and their wives, all that was in the houses, they captured and plundered.

³⁶ Then Jacob became angry and berated Laban. Jacob said to Laban, “What is my offense? What is my sin, that you have hotly pursued me?

¹⁶ All the wealth that God has taken away from our father belongs to us and to our children. Now then, whatever God has said to you, do.”

¹⁰ Abimelech said, “What is this you have done to us? One of the people might easily have lain with your wife, and ^(A)you would have brought guilt upon us.”

⁹ Then Abimelech called Abraham and said to him, “What have you done to us? And how have I sinned against you, that you have brought on me and my kingdom a great sin? You have done to me things that ought not to be done.” ¹⁰ And Abimelech said to Abraham, “What did you see, that you did this thing?”
