⁷ then the Lord God formed the man of ^(A)dust from the ground and ^(B)breathed into his ^(C)nostrils the breath of life, and ^(D)the man became a living creature.

⁷ and ^(A)the dust returns to the earth as it was, and ^(B)the spirit returns to God ^(C)who gave it.

⁴⁵ Thus it is written, ^(A)“The first man Adam became a living being”;^{[a] (B)}the last Adam became a ^(C)life-giving spirit.

²⁵ nor is he served by human hands, ^(A)as though he needed anything, since he himself ^(B)gives to all mankind ^(C)life and breath and everything.
