²⁵ And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.

¹⁰ And he said, “I heard the sound of you in the garden, and I was afraid, ^(A)because I was naked, and I hid myself.” ¹¹ He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?”

^7 (A)Then the eyes of both were opened, ^(B)and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loincloths.

¹¹ For the Scripture says, ^(A)“Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”

²⁶ For ^(A)whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed ^(B)when he comes in ^(C)his glory and the glory of the Father and of ^(D)the holy angels.

^61 (A)Then you will remember your ways ^(B)and be ashamed when you take ^(C)your sisters, both your elder and your younger, and I give them to you ^(D)as daughters, but not on account of^[a] the covenant with you.
