²² And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made^[a] into a woman and brought her to the man.

⁸ For ^(A)man was not made from woman, but woman from man. ⁹ Neither was man created for woman, but ^(B)woman for man.

^13 (A)For Adam was formed first, ^(B)then Eve;

^4 (A)Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge ^(B)the sexually immoral and adulterous.

^19 (A)Now out of the ground the Lord God had formed^[a] every beast of the field and every bird of the heavens and ^(B)brought them to the man to see what he would call them. And whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name.
