Genesis 6:10-17
New American Standard Bible

10 And Noah fathered three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

11 Now the earth was (A)corrupt in the sight of God, and the earth was (B)filled with violence. 12 And God looked on the earth, and behold, it was corrupt; for [a](C)humanity had corrupted its way upon the earth.

13 Then God said to Noah, “(D)The end of [b]humanity has come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence because of [c]people; and behold, I am about to destroy them with the earth. 14 Make for yourself an ark of [d]gopher wood; you shall make the ark with compartments, and [e]cover it inside and out with pitch. 15 This is how you shall make it: the length of the ark shall be [f]three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits. 16 You shall make a [g]window for the ark, and finish it to a [h]cubit from [i]the top; and put the door of the ark on the side; you shall make it with lower, second, and third decks. 17 Now behold, (E)I Myself am bringing the flood of water upon the earth, to destroy all flesh in which there is the breath of life, from under heaven; everything that is on the earth shall perish.

Genesis 6:10-17
New International Version

10 Noah had three sons: Shem,(A) Ham and Japheth.(B)

11 Now the earth was corrupt(C) in God’s sight and was full of violence.(D) 12 God saw how corrupt(E) the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways.(F) 13 So God said to Noah, “I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy(G) both them and the earth.(H) 14 So make yourself an ark of cypress[a] wood;(I) make rooms in it and coat it with pitch(J) inside and out. 15 This is how you are to build it: The ark is to be three hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide and thirty cubits high.[b] 16 Make a roof for it, leaving below the roof an opening one cubit[c] high all around.[d] Put a door in the side of the ark and make lower, middle and upper decks. 17 I am going to bring floodwaters(K) on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish.(L)
