²²That night Jacob got up and took his two wives, his two female servants and his eleven sons^(A) and crossed the ford of the Jabbok.^(B)

²²And he rose up that night, and took his two wives, and his two womenservants, and his eleven sons, and passed over the ford Jabbok.

²⁴So Jacob was left alone,^(A) and a man^(B) wrestled with him till daybreak.
