⁹ Then Abimelek called Abraham in and said, “What have you done to us? How have I wronged you that you have brought such great guilt upon me and my kingdom? You have done things to me that should never be done.^(A)”

¹⁷ Then Abraham prayed to God,^(A) and God healed Abimelek, his wife and his female slaves so they could have children again, ¹⁸ for the Lord had kept all the women in Abimelek’s household from conceiving because of Abraham’s wife Sarah.^(B)

²⁷ Naaman’s leprosy^(A) will cling to you and to your descendants forever.” Then Gehazi^(B) went from Elisha’s presence and his skin was leprous—it had become as white as snow.^(C)

Jeroboam II King of Israel

²³ In the fifteenth year of Amaziah son of Joash king of Judah, Jeroboam^(A) son of Jehoash king of Israel became king in Samaria, and he reigned forty-one years. ²⁴ He did evil in the eyes of the Lord and did not turn away from any of the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit.^(B)

Jehoiakim King of Judah^(A)

³⁶ Jehoiakim^(B) was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem eleven years. His mother’s name was Zebidah daughter of Pedaiah; she was from Rumah. ³⁷ And he did evil^(C) in the eyes of the Lord, just as his predecessors had done.
