Bear and Share Burdens
6 Brethren, if a man is [a]overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of (A)gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. 2 (B)Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill (C)the law of Christ. 3 For (D)if anyone thinks himself to be something, when (E)he is nothing, he deceives himself. 4 But (F)let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and (G)not in another. 5 For (H)each one shall bear his own load.
Be Generous and Do Good
6 (I)Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.
7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for (J)whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap (K)everlasting life. 9 And (L)let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap (M)if we do not lose heart. 10 (N)Therefore, as we have opportunity, (O)let us do good to all, (P)especially to those who are of the household of faith.
Glory Only in the Cross
11 See with what large letters I have written to you with my own hand! 12 As many as desire to make a good showing in the flesh, these would compel you to be circumcised, (Q)only that they may not suffer persecution for the cross of Christ. 13 For not even those who are circumcised keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh. 14 But God forbid that I should boast except in the (R)cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by [b]whom the world has been crucified to me, and (S)I to the world. 15 For (T)in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creation.
Blessing and a Plea
16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.
17 From now on let no one trouble me, for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.
18 Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.

Doing Good to All
6 Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit(A) should restore(B) that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. 2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.(C) 3 If anyone thinks they are something(D) when they are not, they deceive themselves.(E) 4 Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone,(F) without comparing themselves to someone else,(G) 5 for each one should carry their own load.(H) 6 Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor.(I)
7 Do not be deceived:(J) God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.(K) 8 Whoever sows to please their flesh,(L) from the flesh will reap destruction;(M) whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.(N) 9 Let us not become weary in doing good,(O) for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.(P) 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good(Q) to all people, especially to those who belong to the family(R) of believers.
Not Circumcision but the New Creation
11 See what large letters I use as I write to you with my own hand!(S)
12 Those who want to impress people by means of the flesh(T) are trying to compel you to be circumcised.(U) The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted(V) for the cross of Christ. 13 Not even those who are circumcised keep the law,(W) yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh.(X) 14 May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ,(Y) through which[a] the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.(Z) 15 Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything;(AA) what counts is the new creation.(AB) 16 Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule—to[b] the Israel of God.
17 From now on, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks(AC) of Jesus.
18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ(AD) be with your spirit,(AE) brothers and sisters. Amen.

6 Brüder, wenn auch ein Mensch von einem Fehltritt übereilt würde, so helfet ihr, die ihr geistlich seid, einem solchen im Geiste der Sanftmut wieder zurecht; und sieh dabei auf dich selbst, daß du nicht auch versucht werdest! 2 Traget einer des andern Lasten, und so werdet ihr das Gesetz Christi erfüllen! 3 Denn wenn jemand glaubt, etwas zu sein, da er doch nichts ist, so betrügt er sich selbst. 4 Ein jeglicher aber prüfe sein eigenes Werk, und dann wird er für sich selbst den Ruhm haben und nicht für einen andern; 5 denn ein jeglicher soll seine eigene Bürde tragen.
6 Wer im Wort unterrichtet wird, der gebe dem, der ihn unterrichtet, Anteil an allen Gütern.
7 Irret euch nicht; Gott läßt seiner nicht spotten! Denn was der Mensch sät, das wird er ernten. 8 Denn wer auf sein Fleisch sät, wird vom Fleisch Verderben ernten; wer aber auf den Geist sät, wird vom Geist ewiges Leben ernten. 9 Laßt uns aber im Gutestun nicht müde werden; denn zu seiner Zeit werden wir auch ernten, wenn wir nicht ermatten. 10 So laßt uns nun, wo wir Gelegenheit haben, an jedermann Gutes tun, allermeist an den Glaubensgenossen.
11 Sehet, wie weitläufig ich euch geschrieben habe mit eigener Hand!
Nicht Beschneidung sondern eine neue Kreatur. Das Kreuz Christi einziger Grund zum Rühmen. Segenswünsche und Gruß
12 Alle, die im Fleische wohlangesehen sein wollen, nötigen euch, daß ihr euch beschneiden lasset, nur damit sie nicht mit dem Kreuze Christi[a] verfolgt werden. 13 Denn nicht einmal sie, die beschnitten sind, halten das Gesetz, sondern sie verlangen, daß ihr euch beschneiden lasset, damit sie sich eures Fleisches rühmen können. 14 Von mir aber sei es ferne, mich zu rühmen, denn allein des Kreuzes unsres Herrn Jesus Christus, durch welches mir die Welt gekreuzigt ist und ich der Welt. 15 Denn in Christus Jesus gilt weder Beschnitten- noch Unbeschnittensein etwas, sondern eine neue Kreatur[b].
16 Soviele nach dieser Regel wandeln, über die komme Frieden und Erbarmen, und über das Israel Gottes!
17 Im übrigen mache mir niemand weitere Mühe; denn ich trage die Malzeichen Jesu an meinem Leibe.
18 Die Gnade unsres Herrn Jesus Christus sei mit eurem Geist, ihr Brüder! Amen.
