The Law Brings a Curse

¹⁰For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, ^(A)“Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.” ¹¹But that no one is ^[a]justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for ^(B)“the just shall live by faith.” ¹²Yet ^(C)the law is not of faith, but ^(D)“the man who does them shall live by them.”

¹⁰for as many as are of works of law are under a curse, for it hath been written, `Cursed [is] every one who is not remaining in all things that have been written in the Book of the Law -- to do them,'

¹¹and that in law no one is declared righteous with God, is evident, because `The righteous by faith shall live;'

¹²and the law is not by faith, but -- `The man who did them shall live in them.'
