Galatians 4:12-14
New Testament for Everyone
Paul’s appeal to his children
12 Become like me!—because I became like you, my dear family. This is my plea to you. You didn’t wrong me: 13 no, you know that it was through bodily weakness that I announced the gospel to you in the first place. 14 You didn’t despise or scorn me, even though my condition was quite a test for you, but you welcomed me as if I were God’s angel, as if I were the Messiah, Jesus!

Galatians 4:12-14
New International Version
12 I plead with you, brothers and sisters,(A) become like me, for I became like you. You did me no wrong. 13 As you know, it was because of an illness(B) that I first preached the gospel to you, 14 and even though my illness was a trial to you, you did not treat me with contempt or scorn. Instead, you welcomed me as if I were an angel of God, as if I were Christ Jesus himself.(C)
