It is even as Abraham believed God, and it was ascribed to him for righteousness. Understand therefore that it is those who are of faith who are the children of Abraham.

For the scripture foresaw that God would justify the heathen through faith, and therefore showed beforehand glad tidings to Abraham: In you shall all nations be blessed. So then, those who are of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
