Galatians 2:5-10
New American Standard Bible
5 But we did not yield in subjection to them, even for an hour, so that (A)the truth of the gospel would remain with you. 6 But from those who [a]were of considerable (B)repute (what they were makes no difference to me; (C)God shows no favoritism)—well, those who were of repute contributed nothing to me. 7 But on the contrary, seeing that I had been (D)entrusted with the (E)gospel [b]to the uncircumcised, just as (F)Peter had been [c]to the circumcised 8 (for He who was at work for Peter in his (G)apostleship [d]to the circumcised was at work for me also to the Gentiles), 9 and recognizing (H)the grace that had been given to me, [e](I)James and [f](J)Cephas and John, who were (K)reputed to be (L)pillars, gave to me and (M)Barnabas the (N)right [g]hand of fellowship, so that we might (O)go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcised. 10 They only asked us to remember the poor—(P)the very thing I also was eager to do.
