⁵ for each one should carry their own load.^(A)

¹⁰ You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister^[a]? Or why do you treat them with contempt?^(A) For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat.^{(B) 11} It is written:

¹² So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.^(E)

¹⁰ For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us^(A) for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

The Ministry of Reconciliation

¹¹ Since, then, we know what it is to fear the Lord,^(B) we try to persuade others. What we are is plain to God, and I hope it is also plain to your conscience.^(C)

⁶ God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”^{[a](A) 7} To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor^(B) and immortality,^(C) he will give eternal life.^{(D) 8} But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil,^(E) there will be wrath and anger.^{(F) 9} There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil:^(G) first for the Jew, then for the Gentile;^(H)

¹² And I saw the dead, great and small,^(A) standing before the throne, and books were opened.^(B) Another book was opened, which is the book of life.^(C) The dead were judged^(D) according to what they had done^(E) as recorded in the books. ¹³ The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades^(F) gave up the dead^(G) that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done.^{(H) 14} Then death^(I) and Hades^(J) were thrown into the lake of fire.^(K) The lake of fire is the second death.^{(L) 15} Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life^(M) was thrown into the lake of fire.

²⁷ For the Son of Man^(A) is going to come^(B) in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.^(C)
