^2 (A)Bear one another's burdens, and ^(B)so fulfill ^(C)the law of Christ.

The Example of Christ

15 ^(A)We who are strong ^(B)have an obligation to bear with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

¹⁴ And we urge you, brothers, admonish ^(A)the idle,^{[a] (B)}encourage the fainthearted, ^(C)help the weak, ^(D)be patient with them all.

^34 (A)A new commandment ^(B)I give to you, ^(C)that you love one another: ^(D)just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.

²¹ And ^(A)this commandment we have from him: ^(B)whoever loves God must also love his brother.

⁸ If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, ^(A)“You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing well.

^12 (A)“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.

¹³ For you were called to freedom, brothers. ^(A)Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love ^(B)serve one another. ¹⁴ For ^(C)the whole law is fulfilled in one word: ^(D)“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

⁵ If you see the donkey of one who hates you lying down under its burden, you shall refrain from leaving him with it; you shall rescue it with him.

¹⁴ If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, ^(A)you also ought to wash one another's feet. ¹⁵ For I have given you an example, ^(B)that you also should do just as I have done to you.
