Os descendentes de Adão
5 Este é o livro da história de Adão[a].
No dia em que Deus criou os seres humanos,
ele os fez à imagem de Deus.
2 Ele os fez homem e mulher.
E quando os fez,
ele os abençoou,
e lhes deu o nome de “seres humanos[b]”.
3 Quando Adão tinha 130 anos, teve um filho com a sua aparência, segundo a sua imagem. Adão lhe deu o nome de Sete.
4 Depois do nascimento de Sete, Adão viveu mais 800 anos e, durante esse tempo, teve outros filhos e filhas. 5 Adão morreu com 930 anos.
6 Quando Sete tinha 105 anos, teve um filho chamado Enos. 7 Depois do nascimento de Enos, Sete viveu mais 807 anos e, durante esse tempo, teve outros filhos e filhas. 8 Sete morreu com 912 anos.
9 Aos 90 anos de idade, Enos teve um filho chamado Cainã. 10 Depois do nascimento de Cainã, Enos viveu mais 815 anos e, durante esse tempo, teve outros filhos e filhas. 11 Enos morreu com 905 anos.
12 Quando Cainã tinha 70 anos, teve um filho chamado Maalalel. 13 Depois do nascimento de Maalalel, Cainã viveu mais 840 anos e, durante esse tempo, teve outros filhos e filhas. 14 Cainã morreu com 910 anos.
15 Quando Maalalel tinha 65 anos, teve um filho chamado Jarede. 16 Depois do nascimento de Jarede, Maalalel viveu mais 830 anos e, durante esse tempo, teve outros filhos e filhas. 17 Maalalel morreu com 895 anos.
18 Aos 162 anos de idade, Jarede teve um filho chamado Enoque. 19 Depois do nascimento de Enoque, Jarede viveu mais 800 anos e, durante esse tempo, teve outros filhos e filhas. 20 Jarede morreu com 962 anos.
21 Quando Enoque tinha 65 anos, teve um filho chamado Matusalém. 22 Depois do nascimento de Matusalém, Enoque viveu mais 300 anos e sempre viveu em comunhão com Deus. Durante esse tempo, teve outros filhos e filhas. 23 Enoque viveu 365 anos. 24 Enoque sempre viveu em comunhão com Deus. Um dia ele desapareceu, porque Deus o levou.
25 Aos 187 anos de idade, Matusalém teve um filho chamado Lameque. 26 Depois do nascimento de Lameque, Matusalém viveu mais 782 anos e, durante esse tempo, teve outros filhos e filhas. 27 Matusalém morreu com 969 anos.
28 Quando Lameque tinha 182 anos, teve um filho. 29 Deu-lhe o nome de Noé[c] e disse:
—Ele nos dará descanso do trabalho duro que nós temos por causa do SENHOR ter amaldiçoado a terra.
30 Depois do nascimento de Noé, Lameque viveu mais 595 anos e, durante esse tempo, teve outros filhos e filhas. 31 Lameque morreu com 777 anos.
32 Noé tinha 500 anos quando teve os seus filhos: Sem, Cam e Jafé.

From Adam to Noah
5 This is the written account(A) of Adam’s family line.(B)
When God created mankind, he made them in the likeness of God.(C) 2 He created them(D) male and female(E) and blessed them. And he named them “Mankind”[a] when they were created.
3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image;(F) and he named him Seth.(G) 4 After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters. 5 Altogether, Adam lived a total of 930 years, and then he died.(H)
6 When Seth had lived 105 years, he became the father[b] of Enosh.(I) 7 After he became the father of Enosh, Seth lived 807 years and had other sons and daughters. 8 Altogether, Seth lived a total of 912 years, and then he died.
9 When Enosh had lived 90 years, he became the father of Kenan.(J) 10 After he became the father of Kenan, Enosh lived 815 years and had other sons and daughters. 11 Altogether, Enosh lived a total of 905 years, and then he died.
12 When Kenan had lived 70 years, he became the father of Mahalalel.(K) 13 After he became the father of Mahalalel, Kenan lived 840 years and had other sons and daughters. 14 Altogether, Kenan lived a total of 910 years, and then he died.
15 When Mahalalel had lived 65 years, he became the father of Jared.(L) 16 After he became the father of Jared, Mahalalel lived 830 years and had other sons and daughters. 17 Altogether, Mahalalel lived a total of 895 years, and then he died.
18 When Jared had lived 162 years, he became the father of Enoch.(M) 19 After he became the father of Enoch, Jared lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters. 20 Altogether, Jared lived a total of 962 years, and then he died.
21 When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah.(N) 22 After he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked faithfully with God(O) 300 years and had other sons and daughters. 23 Altogether, Enoch lived a total of 365 years. 24 Enoch walked faithfully with God;(P) then he was no more, because God took him away.(Q)
25 When Methuselah had lived 187 years, he became the father of Lamech.(R) 26 After he became the father of Lamech, Methuselah lived 782 years and had other sons and daughters. 27 Altogether, Methuselah lived a total of 969 years, and then he died.
28 When Lamech had lived 182 years, he had a son. 29 He named him Noah[c](S) and said, “He will comfort us in the labor and painful toil of our hands caused by the ground the Lord has cursed.(T)” 30 After Noah was born, Lamech lived 595 years and had other sons and daughters. 31 Altogether, Lamech lived a total of 777 years, and then he died.
32 After Noah was 500 years old,(U) he became the father of Shem,(V) Ham and Japheth.(W)

14 И всички дни на Кенан станаха деветстотин и десет години; и умря.
15 Маалалеил живя шестдесет и пет години и от него се роди Яред.
16 А откакто се роди Яред, Маалалеил живя осемстотин и тридесет години и роди синове и дъщери.
17 И всички дни на Маалалеил станаха осемстотин деветдесет и пет години; и умря.
18 (G)Яред живя сто шестдесет и две години и от него се роди Енох.
19 А откакто се роди Енох, Яред живя осемстотин години и от него се родиха синове и дъщери.
20 И всички дни на Яред станаха деветстотин шестдесет и две години; и умря.
21 Енох живя шестдесет и пет години и от него се роди Матусал.
22 (H)А откакто се роди Матусал, Енох ходи по Бога триста години и от него се родиха синове и дъщери.
23 И всички дни на Енох станаха триста шестдесет и пет години.
24 (I)И Енох живееше според Божиите заповеди и го нямаше вече, защото Бог го взе.
25 Матусал живя сто осемдесет и седем години и от него се роди Ламех.
26 А откакто се роди Ламех, Матусал живя седемстотин осемдесет и две години и от него се родиха синове и дъщери.
27 И всички дни на Матусал станаха деветстотин шестдесет и девет години; и умря.
28 Ламех живя сто осемдесет и две години и от него се роди син;

5 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth:
4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
6 And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:
7 And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:
8 And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.
9 And Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan:
10 And Enos lived after he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:
11 And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years: and he died.
12 And Cainan lived seventy years and begat Mahalaleel:
13 And Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters:
14 And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.
15 And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared:
16 And Mahalaleel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters:
17 And all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.
18 And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:
19 And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
20 And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.
21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:
22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
25 And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech.
26 And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:
27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.
28 And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:
29 And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord hath cursed.
30 And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:
31 And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.
32 And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
