6 Hermanos (A), aun si alguno es sorprendido en alguna falta, vosotros que sois espirituales(B), restauradlo(C) en un espíritu de mansedumbre(D), mirándote a ti mismo, no sea que tú también seas tentado. 2 Llevad los unos las cargas de los otros(E), y cumplid así la ley de Cristo(F). 3 Porque si alguno se cree que es algo, no siendo nada, se engaña a sí mismo(G). 4 Pero que cada uno examine su propia obra(H), y entonces tendrá motivo para gloriarse(I) solamente con respecto a sí mismo, y no con respecto a otro. 5 Porque cada uno llevará su propia carga(J).

6 Y al que se le enseña la palabra, que comparta toda cosa buena con el que le enseña(K). 7 No os dejéis engañar(L), de Dios nadie se burla[a](M); pues todo lo que el hombre siembre, eso también segará(N). 8 Porque el que siembra para su propia carne, de la carne segará corrupción(O), pero el que siembra para el Espíritu, del Espíritu segará vida eterna(P). 9 Y no nos cansemos[b] de hacer el bien, pues a su tiempo, si no nos cansamos, segaremos(Q). 10 Así que entonces, hagamos bien a todos según tengamos oportunidad(R), y especialmente a los de la familia[c](S) de la fe(T).

Declaraciones finales

11 Mirad con qué letras tan grandes os escribo[d] de mi propia mano(U). 12 Los que desean agradar[e] en la carne(V) tratan de obligaros a que os circuncidéis(W), simplemente para no ser perseguidos(X) a causa de la cruz de Cristo. 13 Porque ni aun los mismos que son[f] circuncidados guardan la ley(Y), mas ellos desean haceros circuncidar para gloriarse en vuestra carne(Z). 14 Pero jamás(AA) acontezca que yo me gloríe, sino en la cruz de nuestro Señor Jesucristo(AB), por el cual el mundo ha sido crucificado para mí(AC) y yo para el mundo(AD). 15 Porque[g] ni la circuncisión es nada, ni la incircuncisión(AE), sino una nueva creación[h](AF). 16 Y a los que anden conforme a esta regla[i], paz y misericordia sea sobre ellos y sobre el Israel de Dios(AG).

17 De aquí en adelante nadie me cause molestias, porque yo llevo en mi cuerpo las marcas[j](AH) de Jesús.

18 Hermanos(AI), la gracia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo sea con vuestro espíritu(AJ). Amén.

Mise en pratique de la vie nouvelle en Christ

6 Frères, si un homme vient à être surpris en faute, vous qui êtes spirituels, redressez-le avec un esprit de douceur. Prends garde à toi-même, de peur que tu ne sois aussi tenté. 2 Portez les fardeaux les uns des autres, et vous accomplirez ainsi la loi de Christ. 3 Si quelqu’un pense être quelque chose, quoiqu’il ne soit rien, il s’abuse lui-même. 4 Que chacun examine ses propres œuvres, et alors il aura sujet de se glorifier pour lui seul, et non par rapport à autrui; 5 car chacun portera sa propre charge.

6 Que celui à qui l’on enseigne la parole fasse part de tous ses biens à celui qui l’enseigne.

7 Ne vous y trompez pas: on ne se moque pas de Dieu. Ce qu’un homme aura semé, il le moissonnera aussi. 8 Celui qui sème pour sa chair moissonnera de la chair la corruption; mais celui qui sème pour l’Esprit moissonnera de l’Esprit la vie éternelle. 9 Ne nous lassons pas de faire le bien; car nous moissonnerons au temps convenable, si nous ne nous relâchons pas. 10 Ainsi donc, pendant que nous en avons l’occasion, pratiquons le bien envers tous, et surtout envers les frères en la foi.

11 Voyez avec quelles grandes lettres je vous ai écrit de ma propre main[a].

12 Tous ceux qui veulent se rendre agréables selon la chair vous contraignent à vous faire circoncire, uniquement afin de n’être pas persécutés pour la croix de Christ. 13 Car les circoncis eux-mêmes n’observent point la loi; mais ils veulent que vous soyez circoncis, pour se glorifier dans votre chair. 14 Pour ce qui me concerne, loin de moi la pensée de me glorifier d’autre chose que de la croix de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ, par qui[b] le monde est crucifié pour moi, comme je le suis pour le monde! 15 Car ce n’est rien d’être circoncis ou incirconcis; ce qui est quelque chose, c’est d’être une nouvelle création[c]. 16 Paix et miséricorde sur tous ceux qui suivront cette règle, et sur l’Israël de Dieu!

17 Que personne désormais ne me fasse de la peine, car je porte sur mon corps les marques[d] de Jésus.

18 Frères, que la grâce de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ soit avec votre esprit! Amen!

Doing Good to All

6 Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit(A) should restore(B) that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. 2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.(C) 3 If anyone thinks they are something(D) when they are not, they deceive themselves.(E) 4 Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone,(F) without comparing themselves to someone else,(G) 5 for each one should carry their own load.(H) 6 Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor.(I)

7 Do not be deceived:(J) God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.(K) 8 Whoever sows to please their flesh,(L) from the flesh will reap destruction;(M) whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.(N) 9 Let us not become weary in doing good,(O) for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.(P) 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good(Q) to all people, especially to those who belong to the family(R) of believers.

Not Circumcision but the New Creation

11 See what large letters I use as I write to you with my own hand!(S)

12 Those who want to impress people by means of the flesh(T) are trying to compel you to be circumcised.(U) The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted(V) for the cross of Christ. 13 Not even those who are circumcised keep the law,(W) yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your circumcision in the flesh.(X) 14 May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ,(Y) through which[a] the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.(Z) 15 Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything;(AA) what counts is the new creation.(AB) 16 Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule—to[b] the Israel of God.

17 From now on, let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks(AC) of Jesus.

18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ(AD) be with your spirit,(AE) brothers and sisters. Amen.

Bear and Share Burdens

6 Brethren, if a man is [a]overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of (A)gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. 2 (B)Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill (C)the law of Christ. 3 For (D)if anyone thinks himself to be something, when (E)he is nothing, he deceives himself. 4 But (F)let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and (G)not in another. 5 For (H)each one shall bear his own load.

Be Generous and Do Good

6 (I)Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.

7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for (J)whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap (K)everlasting life. 9 And (L)let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap (M)if we do not lose heart. 10 (N)Therefore, as we have opportunity, (O)let us do good to all, (P)especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Glory Only in the Cross

11 See with what large letters I have written to you with my own hand! 12 As many as desire to make a good showing in the flesh, these would compel you to be circumcised, (Q)only that they may not suffer persecution for the cross of Christ. 13 For not even those who are circumcised keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh. 14 But God forbid that I should boast except in the (R)cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by [b]whom the world has been crucified to me, and (S)I to the world. 15 For (T)in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creation.

Blessing and a Plea

16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.

17 From now on let no one trouble me, for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.

18 Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
