La gloria de Dios llena el templo

43 Entonces el hombre me llevó a la puerta, la puerta que da hacia el oriente(A); 2 y vi que la gloria del Dios(B) de Israel venía de la parte del oriente(C). Su voz era como el sonido de muchas aguas(D), y la tierra resplandecía de Su gloria(E). 3 Tenía el aspecto de la visión que vi(F), como la visión que había visto cuando Él vino a destruir la ciudad(G); y las visiones eran como la visión que yo había visto junto al río Quebar(H). Entonces me postré sobre mi rostro(I). 4 La gloria del Señor entró en el templo por el camino de la puerta que da hacia el oriente(J). 5 Entonces el Espíritu me levantó y me llevó al atrio interior(K), y la gloria del Señor llenó el templo(L).

6 Y oí a uno que me hablaba desde el templo, mientras el hombre estaba de pie junto a mí(M), 7 y me dijo: «Hijo de hombre, este es el lugar de Mi trono(N), el lugar de las plantas de Mis pies, donde habitaré entre los israelitas para siempre(O). Y la casa de Israel no volverá a profanar Mi santo nombre, ni ellos ni sus reyes, con sus prostituciones y con los cadáveres de sus reyes cuando mueran(P), 8 poniendo su umbral junto a Mi umbral(Q), y sus postes junto a Mis postes con solo un muro entre ellos y Yo. Ellos han profanado Mi santo nombre con las abominaciones que han cometido; por eso los he consumido en Mi ira. 9 Que alejen ahora de Mí sus prostituciones y los cadáveres(R) de sus reyes, y Yo habitaré entre ellos para siempre(S).

10 »Y tú, hijo de hombre, describe el templo a la casa de Israel(T), para que se avergüencen(U) de sus iniquidades(V), y tomen las medidas de su plano. 11 Y si se avergüenzan de todo lo que han hecho, enséñales el diseño del templo, su estructura, sus salidas, sus entradas, todos sus diseños, todos sus estatutos y todas sus leyes(W). Escribe esto ante sus ojos(X) para que guarden todas sus leyes y todos sus estatutos, y los cumplan(Y). 12 Esta es la ley del templo: todo su territorio sobre la cumbre del monte(Z) por todo alrededor será santísimo. Así es la ley del templo.

13 »Estas son las medidas del altar en codos (cada codo real de un codo y un palmo menor): la base, un codo real (52.5 centímetros), el ancho, codo real(AA); su reborde en la orilla por todo alrededor, un palmo (26 centímetros)(AB). Y esta será su altura: 14 desde la base en el suelo hasta el zócalo inferior será de dos codos (1.05 metros), por un codo (52.5 centímetros) de ancho; y desde el zócalo menor hasta el zócalo mayor será de cuatro codos (2.1 metros), por un codo de ancho(AC). 15 El hogar del altar será de 4 codos (2.1 metros), y del hogar del altar se extenderán hacia arriba cuatro cuernos(AD). 16 El hogar del altar será de 12 codos (6.30 metros) de largo por 12 codos de ancho, cuadrado por sus cuatro lados(AE). 17 Y el zócalo será de 14 codos (7.35 metros) de largo por 14 codos de ancho por sus cuatro lados; el borde alrededor será de medio codo (26.25 centímetros), y su base, de un codo (52.5 centímetros) alrededor; sus gradas(AF) mirarán al oriente(AG)».

18 Y el hombre me dijo: «Hijo de hombre(AH), así dice el Señor Dios: “Estos son los estatutos para el altar el día que sea construido, para ofrecer holocaustos sobre él(AI) y para esparcir sobre él sangre(AJ). 19 A los sacerdotes levitas que son de la descendencia de Sadoc(AK), que se acercan a Mí(AL) para servirme”, declara el Señor Dios(AM), “darás un novillo de la vacada para la ofrenda por el pecado(AN). 20 Y tomarás de su sangre y la pondrás sobre sus cuatro cuernos(AO), en los cuatro ángulos del zócalo y en el borde todo alrededor(AP); así lo limpiarás y harás expiación por él(AQ). 21 Luego tomarás el novillo para la ofrenda por el pecado, y será quemado en el lugar señalado del templo, fuera del santuario(AR). 22 Al segundo día ofrecerás un macho cabrío sin defecto para la ofrenda por el pecado(AS), y purificarás el altar como lo purificaron(AT) con el novillo. 23 Cuando hayas terminado de purificarlo, ofrecerás un novillo sin defecto de la vacada y un carnero sin defecto del rebaño(AU). 24 Los ofrecerás delante del Señor, y los sacerdotes echarán sal sobre ellos y los ofrecerán en holocausto al Señor(AV).

25 ”Durante siete días prepararás diariamente un macho cabrío para la ofrenda por el pecado(AW); también serán preparados un novillo de la vacada y un carnero sin defecto del rebaño. 26 Durante siete días harán expiación por el altar y lo purificarán; así lo consagrarán. 27 Cuando hayan terminado estos días, sucederá que del octavo día(AX) en adelante, los sacerdotes ofrecerán sobre el altar sus holocaustos y sus ofrendas de paz(AY); y Yo me complaceré en ustedes”, declara el Señor Dios(AZ)».

43 Entonces el hombre me llevó a la puerta que da al oriente. 2 Vi que la gloria del Dios de Israel venía del oriente, en medio de un ruido ensordecedor, semejante al de un río caudaloso. Y la tierra resplandecía con su gloria. 3 Esta visión era semejante a la que tuve cuando él vino a destruir la ciudad de Jerusalén; también, a la que tuve junto al río Quebar. Y caí rostro en tierra, 4 cuando la gloria del Señor entró al Templo por la puerta que daba al oriente. 5 Entonces el Espíritu me levantó, me introdujo en el atrio interior y vi que la gloria del Señor había llenado el Templo.

6 Mientras el hombre estaba de pie a mi lado, oí que alguien me hablaba desde el Templo. 7 Me decía: «Hijo de hombre, este es el lugar de mi trono, el lugar donde pongo la planta de mis pies; aquí habitaré entre los israelitas para siempre. El pueblo de Israel y sus reyes no volverán a profanar mi santo nombre con sus infidelidades ni con las ofrendas funerarias que presentan a sus reyes. 8 Los israelitas profanaron mi santo nombre con sus abominaciones, pues colocaron su umbral y sus postes junto a los míos, con tan solo un muro entre ellos y yo. Por eso, en mi ira los exterminé. 9 Que alejen ahora de mí sus infidelidades y sus ofrendas funerarias a sus reyes, y yo habitaré en medio de ellos para siempre.

10 »Hijo de hombre, describe al pueblo de Israel el Templo, con sus planos y medidas, para que se avergüencen de sus iniquidades. 11 Y, si se avergüenzan de todo lo que han hecho, hazles conocer el diseño del Templo y su estructura, con sus salidas y entradas, es decir, todo su diseño, al igual que sus estatutos y sus leyes. Pon todo esto por escrito ante sus ojos, para que sean fieles al diseño y cumplan todos sus estatutos.

12 »Esta es la ley del Templo: todo el terreno que lo rodea sobre la cumbre del monte será un Lugar Santísimo. Tal es la ley del Templo».

El altar

13 Estas son las medidas del altar en codos, a razón de un codo y un palmo.[a] Alrededor del altar había una fosa de un codo de hondo por un codo de ancho, con un reborde de un palmo alrededor de toda la orilla. La altura del altar era la siguiente: 14 Desde la fosa en el suelo hasta el zócalo inferior tenía dos codos de alto y un codo de ancho; y desde el zócalo inferior hasta el zócalo superior, medía cuatro codos de alto y un codo de ancho. 15 El lugar del fuego del altar medía cuatro codos de alto y desde allí se erguían cuatro cuernos. 16 El lugar del fuego del altar era un cuadrado perfecto de doce codos de largo por doce codos de ancho. 17 El zócalo superior también era un cuadrado de catorce codos de largo por catorce de ancho, y alrededor de todo el altar había un reborde de medio codo. La fosa alrededor del altar tenía un codo de ancho. Las gradas del altar daban al oriente.

18 Luego él me dijo: «Hijo de hombre, así dice el Señor y Dios: El día que se construya el altar para ofrecer los holocaustos y para derramar la sangre, se deberán seguir estos estatutos: 19 A los sacerdotes levitas descendientes de Sadoc que se acercan para ministrar delante de mí les darás un novillo para que lo ofrezcan como sacrificio por el pecado, afirma el Señor y Dios. 20 Luego tomarás un poco de la sangre. Con ella rociarás los cuatro cuernos, las cuatro esquinas del zócalo superior y todo el reborde que lo rodea. Así lo limpiarás y lo purificarás. 21 Después tomarás el novillo del sacrificio por el pecado, y este será quemado en el lugar señalado en el Templo, fuera del santuario.

22 »Al segundo día, ofrecerás como sacrificio por el pecado un macho cabrío sin defecto y el altar quedará purificado de la misma manera que se purificó con el novillo. 23 Cuando hayas terminado de purificarlo, ofrecerás un novillo y un carnero sin defecto 24 en presencia del Señor. Los sacerdotes los rociarán con sal y los ofrecerán como holocausto al Señor.

25 »Diariamente, durante siete días, ofrecerás un macho cabrío para el sacrificio por el pecado; también, un novillo y un carnero del rebaño, ambos sin defecto. 26 Durante siete días los sacerdotes harán la ceremonia de purificación del altar y así lo limpiarán; de este modo quedará consagrado. 27 Al cabo de estos siete días, y a partir del día octavo, comenzarán a ofrecer sobre el altar los holocaustos y sacrificios de comunión de ustedes. Entonces yo los aceptaré, afirma el Señor y Dios».

43 उ मनई मोका फाटक तलक लइ गवा, उ फाटक जउन पूरब क खुलत रहा। 2 हुवाँ पूरब स इस्राएल क परमेस्सर क महिमा उतरी। परमेस्सर क अवाज क सोरमचावत भवा अधिक पानी आवाज़ क समान तेज रही। परमेस्सर क महिमा स भुइँया प्रकास स चमक उठी। 3 उ दर्सन वइसा ही रहा जउन मइँ उ समइ लखेउँ जब उ नगर विनास करइ बरे आवा रहा वइसा ही रहा। जइसा दर्सन मइँ कबार नदी क किनारे लखे रहेउँ। अउर मइँ मुहँ क बल धरती पइ गिर पड़इ गवा। 4 यहोवा क महिमा, मन्दिर मँ उ फाटक स आइ जउन पूरब क खुलत ह।

5 तब आतिमा मोका ऊपर उठाएस अउर भीतरी आँगन मँ लइ गइ। यहोवा क महिमा मन्दिर क भर दिहस। 6 मइँ मन्दिर क भीतर स कउनो क मोरे संग बातन करत सुनेउँ। मनई मोर बगल मँ खड़ा रहा। 7 मन्दिर मँ एक अवाज मोका कहेस, “मनई क पूत, इहइ ठउर मोरे सिंहासन अउ पदपीठ अहइ। मइँ इ ठउर पइ इस्राएल क लोगन मँ सदा रहब। इस्राएल क परिवार मोरे पवित्तर नाउँ क फिन अपमान नाहीं करी। राजा अउर ओनकर लोग मोरे पवित्तर नाउँ क बिभिचारी स अउर आपन-आपन उच्च ठउरे पइ राजा लोगन क ल्हासन दफनाइके लज्जित नाहीं करिहीं। 8 उ पचे मोरे नाउँ क, आपन डवेढ़ी क मोर डवेढ़ी क संग बनाइके अउर दुआर खम्भा क मोरे दुआर खम्भा क संग बनाइके लज्जित नाहीं करिहीं। पुराने जमाने मँ सिरिफ एक देवार मोरे घरे क ओनॅस अलग करत रही। एह बरे उ पचे हर समइ जब कबहुँ भी पाप अउर भयंकर कामन क किहेन तब मोरे पवित्तर नाउँ क लज्जित किहन। इहइ कारण रहा कि मइँ कोहाइ गएउँ अउर ओनका नस्ट किहेउँ। 9 अब ओनका बिभिचार क दूर करइ द्या अउर अपने राजा लोगन क ल्हासन क मोका बहोत दूर लइ जाइ द्या। तब मइँ ओनके बीच सदा रहब।

10 “अब मनई क पूत, इस्राएल क परिवार स मन्दिर क बारे मँ कहा। तब उ पचे आपन पापन पइ लज्जित होइहीं। उ पचे मन्दिर क जोजना क बारे मँ सिखिहीं। 11 उ पचे ओन बुरे कामन बरे लज्जित होइहीं जउन उ पचे किहेन ह। ओनका मन्दिर क आकृति समुझइ द्या। ओनका इ सीखइ द्या कि उ कइसे बनी, ओकर प्रवेस दुआर, निकास दुआर अउर एह पइ क सारी रूपकृतियन कहाँ होइहीं। ओनका एकर सबहिं नेमन अउर विधियन क बारे मँ सिखावा अउर एनका लिखा जेहसे उ पचे सबहिं एनका लखि सकइँ। तब उ पचे मन्दिर क सबहिं नेमन अउर विधियन क पालन करिहीं। तब उ पचे इ सब कछू कइ सकत हीं। 12 मन्दिर क नेम इ अहइ: पर्वत क चोटी पइ सारा छेत्र सब स जियादा पवित्तर अहइ। इ मन्दिर क नेम अहइ।

वेदी

13 “वेदी क नाप, लम्बा हाथ क नाप क अनुसार इ अहइ: हाथ का नाप साधारण हाथ स चार अंगुल बड़ा राह। वेदी क नेंव क चारिहुँ कइँती एक गन्दा नाला रहा। इ एक हाथ गहिर अउर एक हाथ चउड़ा रहा। किनारा क चारिहुँ कइँती एक बीत्ता ऊँचा पट्टी रहा। वेदी केतनी ऊँची रही, उ इ रही। 14 भुइँया स निचली किनारी तलक, नेवं क नाप दुइ हाथ अहइ। इ एक हाथ चउड़ी रही। छोटी किनारी स बड़ी किनारी तलक एकर नाप चार हाथ रही। इ दुइ हाथ चउड़ी रही। 15 वेदी पइ आगी क जगह चार हाथ ऊँच रही। वेदी क चारिहुँ कोने सीगंन क आकार क रहेन। 16 वेदी पइ आगी क जगह बारह हाथ लम्बी अउर बारह हाथ चउड़ी रही। इ पूरी तरह वर्गाकार रहा। 17 किनारा भी वर्गाकार रही अउर चौदह हाथ लम्बी अउर चउदह हाथ चउड़ी रही। एकरे चारिहुँ ओर आधा हाथ चउड़ी एक पट्टी रही। (नेंव क चारिहुँ कइँती गन्दी नाली एक हाथ चउड़ी रही।) वेदी तलक जाइवाली सीढ़ियन पूरब दिसा मँ रहिन।”

18 तब उ मनई मोहसे कहेस, “मनई क पूत, सुआमी यहोवा इ कहत ह: ‘वेदी बरे इ सबइ नेम अहइँ। जउने दिन इ होमबलि चढ़ावइ बरे अउर एह पइ खून बहावइ बरे तइयार होइ जाइ तउ, 19 तोहका लेवी कबीला क याजकन क जउन कि सदोक क सन्तानन अहइ एक ठु जवान साँड़ देइ चाही। उ पचे ओन लोग अहइ जउन कि मोर बरे भेंट क जराइके मोर सेवा किहेस।’” मोर सुआमी यहोवा इ कहेस। 20 “तू बैल क कछू खून लेब्या अउर वेदी क चारिहुँ सींगन पइ, किनारे क चारिहुँ कोनन पइ अउर पट्टी क चारिहुँ ओर डउब्या। इ तरह तू वेदी क पवित्तर करब्या अउर एकरे बरे प्रायस्चित अदा करब्या। 21 तू बैल क पाप बलि क रूप मँ लेब्या। बैल, पवित्तर छेत्र क बाहेर, मन्दिर क खास जगह पइ जरावा जाइ।

22 “दूसर दिन तू बोकरा भेंट करब्या जेहमाँ कउनो दोख नाहीं होइ। इ पाप बलि होइ। याजक वेदी क उहइ तरह पवित्तर करी जउने तरह उ बैल स ओका पवित्तर किहस। 23 जब तू वेदी क पवित्तर करब समाप्त कइ चुका तब तोहका चाही कि तू एक दोख रहित जवान बैल अउर एक दोख रहित भेड़ा बलि चड़ावा। 24 तब याजक ओन पइ नून छिछकारिहीं। तब याजक बैल अउर भेड़ा क यहोवा क होमबलि क रूप मँ बलि चढ़इहीं। 25 तू एक बोकरा हर रोज सात दिन तलक, पाप बलि क बरे तइयार करब्या। तू एक नवा बैल अउ झुण्ड स एक भेड़ा भी तइयार करब्या। बैल अउ भेड़न मँ कउनो दोख नाहीं होइ चाही। 26 सात दिन तलक याजक वेदी क पवित्तर करत रहिहीं। तब याजक वेदी क समर्पित करिहीं। 27 उ सबइ सात दिन पूरा होइ जइहीं। अठएँ दिन अउर ओकरे आगे याजक क तोहार होमबलि अउ मेलबलि वेदी पइ चढ़ाइ चाही। तब मइँ तोहका अंगीकार करब।” मोर सुआमी यहोवा इ कहेस।

God’s Glory Returns to the Temple

43 Then the man brought me to the gate facing east,(A) 2 and I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of rushing waters,(B) and the land was radiant with his glory.(C) 3 The vision I saw was like the vision I had seen when he[a] came to destroy the city and like the visions I had seen by the Kebar River, and I fell facedown. 4 The glory(D) of the Lord entered the temple through the gate facing east.(E) 5 Then the Spirit(F) lifted me up(G) and brought me into the inner court, and the glory(H) of the Lord filled the temple.(I)

6 While the man was standing beside me, I heard someone speaking to me from inside the temple. 7 He said: “Son of man, this is the place of my throne(J) and the place for the soles of my feet. This is where I will live among the Israelites forever. The people of Israel will never again defile(K) my holy name—neither they nor their kings—by their prostitution and the funeral offerings[b] for their kings at their death.[c](L) 8 When they placed their threshold next to my threshold and their doorposts beside my doorposts, with only a wall between me and them, they defiled my holy name by their detestable practices. So I destroyed them in my anger. 9 Now let them put away from me their prostitution and the funeral offerings for their kings, and I will live among them forever.(M)

10 “Son of man, describe the temple to the people of Israel, that they may be ashamed(N) of their sins. Let them consider its perfection, 11 and if they are ashamed of all they have done, make known to them the design of the temple—its arrangement, its exits and entrances—its whole design and all its regulations[d] and laws. Write these down before them so that they may be faithful to its design and follow all its regulations.(O)

12 “This is the law of the temple: All the surrounding area(P) on top of the mountain will be most holy.(Q) Such is the law of the temple.

The Great Altar Restored

13 “These are the measurements of the altar(R) in long cubits,[e] that cubit being a cubit and a handbreadth: Its gutter is a cubit deep and a cubit wide, with a rim of one span[f] around the edge. And this is the height of the altar: 14 From the gutter on the ground up to the lower ledge that goes around the altar it is two cubits high, and the ledge is a cubit wide.[g] From this lower ledge to the upper ledge that goes around the altar it is four cubits high, and that ledge is also a cubit wide.[h] 15 Above that, the altar hearth(S) is four cubits high, and four horns(T) project upward from the hearth. 16 The altar hearth is square, twelve cubits[i] long and twelve cubits wide.(U) 17 The upper ledge(V) also is square, fourteen cubits[j] long and fourteen cubits wide. All around the altar is a gutter of one cubit with a rim of half a cubit.[k] The steps(W) of the altar face east.(X)”

18 Then he said to me, “Son of man, this is what the Sovereign Lord says: These will be the regulations for sacrificing burnt offerings(Y) and splashing blood(Z) against the altar when it is built: 19 You are to give a young bull(AA) as a sin offering[l] to the Levitical priests of the family of Zadok,(AB) who come near(AC) to minister before me, declares the Sovereign Lord. 20 You are to take some of its blood and put it on the four horns of the altar(AD) and on the four corners of the upper ledge(AE) and all around the rim, and so purify the altar(AF) and make atonement for it. 21 You are to take the bull for the sin offering and burn it in the designated part of the temple area outside the sanctuary.(AG)

22 “On the second day you are to offer a male goat without defect for a sin offering, and the altar is to be purified as it was purified with the bull. 23 When you have finished purifying it, you are to offer a young bull and a ram from the flock, both without defect.(AH) 24 You are to offer them before the Lord, and the priests are to sprinkle salt(AI) on them and sacrifice them as a burnt offering to the Lord.

25 “For seven days(AJ) you are to provide a male goat daily for a sin offering; you are also to provide a young bull and a ram from the flock, both without defect.(AK) 26 For seven days they are to make atonement for the altar and cleanse it; thus they will dedicate it. 27 At the end of these days, from the eighth day(AL) on, the priests are to present your burnt offerings(AM) and fellowship offerings(AN) on the altar. Then I will accept you, declares the Sovereign Lord.”
