Ezekiel 30:13-19

13 ‘Thus says Lord Yahweh,
“I will also (A)destroy the idols
And make the [a]images cease from [b](B)Memphis.
And there will no longer be a prince in the land of Egypt;
And I will put fear in the land of Egypt.
14 I will make (C)Pathros desolate,
Set a fire in (D)Zoan,
And execute judgments on [c](E)Thebes.
15 I will pour out My wrath on [d]Sin,
The strong defense of Egypt;
I will also cut off the multitude of [e]Thebes.
16 I will set a fire in Egypt;
[f]Sin will writhe in anguish;
[g]Thebes will be breached,
And [h]Memphis will have [i]distresses daily.
17 The choice men of [j](F)On and of Pi-beseth
Will fall by the sword,
And [k]the women will go into captivity.
18 In (G)Tehaphnehes the day will [l]be (H)dark
When I (I)break there the bars of the yoke of Egypt.
Then the pride of her strength will cease in her;
A cloud will cover her,
And her daughters will go into captivity.
19 Thus I will (J)execute judgments on Egypt,
And they will know that I am Yahweh.”’”

13 Thus says the Lord Yahweh:
“And I will destroy the idols,
and I will put an end to the worthless idols from Memphis.
And there will no longer be[a] a prince from the land of Egypt,
and I will put fear in the land of Egypt.
14 And I will lay waste Pathros,
and I will set fire in Zoan,
and I will execute judgments in No.[b]
15 I will pour out my rage over Sin,
the stronghold of Egypt,
and I will cut off the crowd[c] of No.[d]
16 And I will set fire in Egypt,
certainly Sin will writhe,
and No[e] will be breached,
and Memphis will face enemies daily.[f]
17 The young men of On and Pi Beseth will fall by the sword,
and they will go into captivity.
18 And at Tahpanhes the day will become dark
when I break the yoke of Egypt,
and in it the majesty of its strength
will come to an end.
A cloud will cover it,
and its daughters will go into captivity.
19 And I will execute judgments in Egypt,
and they will know that I am Yahweh.”
