^13 (A)I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt so that you would not be their slaves, and ^(B)I broke the bars of your yoke and made you walk erect.

²⁷ So it will be in that day, that ^[a]his ^(A)burden will be removed from your shoulders and his yoke from your neck, and the yoke will be broken because ^(B)of fatness.

² thus says Yahweh to me—“Make for yourself ^(A)bonds and the ^(B)bars of a yoke and put them on your neck,

¹⁰ Then Hananiah the prophet took ^(A)the bar of the yoke from the neck of Jeremiah the prophet and broke it.

¹³ “Go and speak to Hananiah, saying, ‘Thus says Yahweh, “You have broken the bars of a yoke made of wood, but you have made in their place the ^(A)bars of a yoke made of iron.”

⁸ ‘And it will be in that day,’ declares Yahweh of hosts, ‘that I will ^(A)break his yoke from off your neck and will tear off your ^(B)bonds; and strangers will no longer ^(C)make ^[a]them their slaves.

²⁷ Also the tree of the field will yield its fruit, and the earth will yield its produce, and they will be ^(A)secure on their land. Then they will know that I am Yahweh, when I have ^(B)broken the bars of their yoke and have delivered them from the hand of those who enslaved them.
