The Holy District
45 When you allot the land as an inheritance, you shall set aside for the Lord a portion of the land as a holy district, twenty-five thousand cubits long and twenty[a] thousand cubits wide; it shall be holy throughout its entire extent. 2 Of this, a square plot of five hundred by five hundred cubits shall be for the sanctuary, with fifty cubits for an open space around it. 3 In the holy district you shall measure off a section twenty-five thousand cubits long and ten thousand wide, in which shall be the sanctuary, the most holy place. 4 It shall be a holy portion of the land; it shall be for the priests, who minister in the sanctuary and approach the Lord to minister to him; and it shall be both a place for their houses and a holy place for the sanctuary. 5 Another section, twenty-five thousand cubits long and ten thousand cubits wide, shall be for the Levites who minister at the temple, as their holding for cities to live in.[b]
6 Alongside the portion set apart as the holy district you shall assign as a holding for the city an area five thousand cubits wide, and twenty-five thousand cubits long; it shall belong to the whole house of Israel.
7 And to the prince shall belong the land on both sides of the holy district and the holding of the city, alongside the holy district and the holding of the city, on the west and on the east, corresponding in length to one of the tribal portions, and extending from the western to the eastern boundary 8 of the land. It is to be his property in Israel. And my princes shall no longer oppress my people; but they shall let the house of Israel have the land according to their tribes.
9 Thus says the Lord God: Enough, O princes of Israel! Put away violence and oppression, and do what is just and right. Cease your evictions of my people, says the Lord God.
Weights and Measures
10 You shall have honest balances, an honest ephah, and an honest bath.[c] 11 The ephah and the bath shall be of the same measure, the bath containing one-tenth of a homer, and the ephah one-tenth of a homer; the homer shall be the standard measure. 12 The shekel shall be twenty gerahs. Twenty shekels, twenty-five shekels, and fifteen shekels shall make a mina for you.
Offerings
13 This is the offering that you shall make: one-sixth of an ephah from each homer of wheat, and one-sixth of an ephah from each homer of barley, 14 and as the fixed portion of oil,[d] one-tenth of a bath from each cor (the cor,[e] like the homer, contains ten baths); 15 and one sheep from every flock of two hundred, from the pastures of Israel. This is the offering for grain offerings, burnt offerings, and offerings of well-being, to make atonement for them, says the Lord God. 16 All the people of the land shall join with the prince in Israel in making this offering. 17 But this shall be the obligation of the prince regarding the burnt offerings, grain offerings, and drink offerings, at the festivals, the new moons, and the sabbaths, all the appointed festivals of the house of Israel: he shall provide the sin offerings, grain offerings, the burnt offerings, and the offerings of well-being, to make atonement for the house of Israel.
Festivals
18 Thus says the Lord God: In the first month, on the first day of the month, you shall take a young bull without blemish, and purify the sanctuary. 19 The priest shall take some of the blood of the sin offering and put it on the doorposts of the temple, the four corners of the ledge of the altar, and the posts of the gate of the inner court. 20 You shall do the same on the seventh day of the month for anyone who has sinned through error or ignorance; so you shall make atonement for the temple.
21 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, you shall celebrate the festival of the passover, and for seven days unleavened bread shall be eaten. 22 On that day the prince shall provide for himself and all the people of the land a young bull for a sin offering. 23 And during the seven days of the festival he shall provide as a burnt offering to the Lord seven young bulls and seven rams without blemish, on each of the seven days; and a male goat daily for a sin offering. 24 He shall provide as a grain offering an ephah for each bull, an ephah for each ram, and a hin of oil to each ephah. 25 In the seventh month, on the fifteenth day of the month and for the seven days of the festival, he shall make the same provision for sin offerings, burnt offerings, and grain offerings, and for the oil.

2 Davon soll ein Quadrat von 500 [Ruten][a] für das Heiligtum verwendet werden, und dazu 50 Ellen freien Raum ringsum.
3 Und nach diesem Maß sollst du einen Landstrich abmessen, 25 000 [Ruten] lang und 10 000 [Ruten] breit; und darauf soll das Heiligtum und das Allerheiligste kommen.
4 Dieser heilige Bezirk des Landes soll den Priestern gehören, den Dienern des Heiligtums, die herzunahen, um dem Herrn zu dienen; er soll ihnen als Platz für ihre Häuser dienen und ein dem Heiligtum geheiligter Raum sein.
5 Und den Leviten, die im Haus dienen, soll ein Gebiet von 25 000 [Ruten] Länge und 10 000 [Ruten] Breite überlassen werden, 20 Parzellen zum Eigentum.
6 Ihr sollt auch der Stadt einen Grundbesitz geben, 5 000 [Ruten] breit und 25 000 [Ruten] lang, entsprechend der heiligen Weihegabe. Das soll dem ganzen Haus Israel gehören.
7 Dem Fürsten aber soll das Land zu beiden Seiten der heiligen Weihegabe und des Grundbesitzes der Stadt gehören, zur Seite der heiligen Weihegabe und zur Seite des Grundbesitzes der Stadt, westlich von der Westseite und östlich von der Ostseite, und die Länge soll einem der [Stammes]anteile entsprechen, von der westlichen bis zur östlichen Grenze.
8 Das soll sein eigener Grundbesitz in Israel sein, damit meine Fürsten künftig mein Volk nicht mehr bedrücken. Und das [übrige] Land soll man dem Haus Israel nach seinen Stämmen überlassen.
Anordnungen für den Opferdienst
9 So spricht Gott, der Herr: Lasst es genug sein, ihr Fürsten Israels! Tut gewalttätigen Frevel und Unterdrückung hinweg, übt Recht und Gerechtigkeit! Hört auf, mein Volk aus seinem Besitz zu vertreiben!, spricht Gott, der Herr.
10 Ihr sollt richtige Waage, richtiges Epha und richtiges Bat gebrauchen!
11 Das Epha und das Bat sollen ein und dasselbe Maß haben. Ein Bat soll den zehnten Teil eines Homers fassen, und ein Epha soll der zehnte Teil eines Homers sein; ihr Maß soll sich nach dem Homer richten.
12 Ein Schekel soll 20 Gera betragen; 20 Schekel, 25 Schekel und 15 Schekel soll euch die Mine gelten.

21 Am vierzehnten Tag des ersten Monats sollt ihr das Passah halten, ein Fest von sieben Tagen; da soll man ungesäuertes Brot essen.
22 An jenem Tag soll der Fürst für sich und für das ganze Volk des Landes einen Stier als Sündopfer darbringen.
23 Und während der sieben Festtage soll er dem Herrn täglich sieben makellose Stiere und Widder als Brandopfer darbringen, sieben Tage lang; und als Sündopfer täglich einen Ziegenbock.

45 Ha majd sorsvetéssel felosztjátok az országot birtokrészekre, ajánljatok fel szent ajándékul az országból az Úrnak egy huszonötezer könyök hosszú és húszezer könyök széles területet! Az így körülhatárolt terület szent.
2 Ebből a szent helyé lesz egy ötszázszor ötszáz könyöknyi négyzet, körülötte pedig ötven könyök szélességű legelő lesz.
3 Ebből a megmért területből mérj ki egy huszonötezer könyök hosszú és tízezer könyök széles területet: ezen lesz a szent hely, amely igen szent.
4 Az ország szent területe ez: a papoké, a szentély szolgáié lesz, akik a szent szolgálat végzésére járulnak az Úrhoz. Itt lesz hely a házaik számára, és itt lesz a szentély szent területe.
5 Huszonötezer könyök hosszú és tízezer könyök széles hely pedig a lévitáké lesz, akik a templomnál teljesítenek szolgálatot. Ez lesz a birtokuk és lakóhelyük.

Elle aura vingt-cinq mille coudées de long sur dix mille[a] de large. Elle sera sainte dans toute son étendue. 2 Vous y réserverez un terrain carré de cinq cents coudées de côté pour le sanctuaire, il sera entouré d’un espace libre de cinquante coudées tout autour. 3 Sur la partie offerte à l’Eternel, vous délimiterez une terre de vingt-cinq mille coudées de longueur sur dix mille de largeur. C’est là que se situera le sanctuaire, le lieu très saint. 4 Cette portion sainte du pays appartiendra aux prêtres qui officieront au sanctuaire et s’approcheront de l’Eternel pour son culte. Ils y disposeront de terrains pour bâtir leurs maisons et d’un espace sacré pour le sanctuaire.
5 Un territoire de vingt-cinq mille coudées sur dix mille de large appartiendra aux lévites qui accompliront le service du Temple. Ils y posséderont vingt agglomérations[b]. 6 Pour la ville, vous délimiterez, le long de la portion de territoire sainte, une bande de territoire de cinq mille coudées de large sur vingt-cinq mille de long. Elle appartiendra à toute la communauté d’Israël.
La part du prince
7 Vous réserverez au prince deux zones de part et d’autre de la portion de territoire sainte et du territoire de la ville, l’une du côté ouest, l’autre du côté est ; la longueur de chacun de ces lots correspondra à celle des lots des tribus depuis la frontière occidentale jusqu’à la frontière orientale. 8 Ce sera son domaine, sa propriété en Israël. Ainsi mes princes n’opprimeront plus mon peuple et ils laisseront le pays à la communauté d’Israël dont chaque tribu aura son territoire.
9 Voici ce que déclare le Seigneur, l’Eternel : C’en est assez, princes d’Israël ! Mettez un terme à la violence et au pillage ! Appliquez le droit et la justice ! Cessez d’expulser mon peuple de ses terres, le Seigneur, l’Eternel, le déclare. 10 Ayez des balances justes, un épha juste pour les grains et un bath juste pour les liquides ! 11 L’épha et le bath auront la même contenance, l’un et l’autre contiendront chacun la dixième partie du homer[c]. C’est d’après le homer que sera jaugée leur capacité. 12 La pièce d’argent d’un sicle vaudra vingt guéras et la mine soixante sicles.
Les offrandes pour le culte
13 Voici l’offrande que vous prélèverez : pour le blé et l’orge, vous donnerez un soixantième de votre récolte[d], 14 pour l’huile, un centième de votre production[e]. L’huile sera mesurée avec un bath, qui contient le dixième d’un homer ou d’un kor. 15 Enfin, vous prendrez un mouton et une chèvre sur deux cents dans le troupeau des pâturages d’Israël ; ils serviront pour les offrandes, les holocaustes et les sacrifices de communion, pour expier les péchés de ceux qui les offriront, le Seigneur, l’Eternel, le déclare. 16 Tout le peuple du pays sera tenu d’apporter cette offrande au prince d’Israël, 17 à qui il incombera de fournir les holocaustes, les offrandes, les libations lors des fêtes, des nouvelles lunes et des sabbats. Vous accomplirez ainsi le rite d’expiation pour le Temple.
21 Le quatorzième jour du premier mois, vous célébrerez la fête de la Pâque. Elle durera sept jours pendant lesquels on mangera des pains sans levain. 22 Le prince offrira ce jour-là un taureau en sacrifice pour le péché, pour lui et pour tout le peuple du pays. 23 Pendant les sept jours de la fête, il offrira journellement en holocauste à l’Eternel sept taureaux et sept béliers sans défaut, et un bouc en sacrifice pour le péché. 24 Il joindra à chaque taureau et à chaque bélier l’offrande de quinze kilogrammes de grains et de trois litres et demi d’huile[f].
25 Le quinzième jour du septième mois, lors de la fête[g], il offrira pendant sept jours les mêmes sacrifices pour le péché, les mêmes holocaustes, les mêmes offrandes et la même quantité d’huile.
