⁵ “Thus says the Lord God: ^(A)This is Jerusalem. I have set her ^(B)in the center of the nations, with countries all around her.

4 “And you, ^(A)son of man, ^(B)take a brick and lay it before you, and engrave on it a city, even Jerusalem.

^6 (A)Keep them and do them, for ^(B)that will be your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples, who, when they hear all these statutes, will say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’

¹⁴ And ^(A)your renown went forth among the nations because of your beauty, for it was perfect through the splendor that I had bestowed on you, declares the Lord God.

⁴ and ^(A)all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from the spiritual Rock that followed them, and the Rock was Christ.

^19 (A)And he took bread, and ^(B)when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, ^(C)“This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” ²⁰ And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, ^(D)“This cup that is poured out for you is ^(E)the new ^(F)covenant in my blood.^[a]

^14 (A)“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
