⁴ The man said to me, “Son of man, look carefully and listen closely and pay attention to everything I am going to show you,^(A) for that is why you have been brought here. Tell^(B) the people of Israel everything you see.^(C)”

⁵ The Lord said to me, “Son of man, look carefully, listen closely and give attention to everything I tell you concerning all the regulations and instructions regarding the temple of the Lord. Give attention to the entrance^(A) to the temple and all the exits of the sanctuary.^(B)

²⁷ What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs.

¹⁰ “Son of man, describe the temple to the people of Israel, that they may be ashamed^(A) of their sins. Let them consider its perfection,

⁷ You must speak^(A) my words to them, whether they listen or fail to listen, for they are rebellious.^{(B) 8} But you, son of man, listen to what I say to you. Do not rebel^(C) like that rebellious people;^(D) open your mouth and eat^(E) what I give you.”

² “This is what the Lord says: Stand in the courtyard^(A) of the Lord’s house and speak to all the people of the towns of Judah who come to worship in the house of the Lord.^(B) Tell^(C) them everything I command you; do not omit^(D) a word.

⁹ Whoever has ears, let them hear.”^(A)

¹⁷ “Son of man, I have made you a watchman^(A) for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.^(B)
