⁹ therefore ^(A)I will lay open the flank of Moab from the cities, from its cities on its frontier, the glory of the country, ^(B)Beth-jeshimoth, ^(C)Baal-meon, and ^(D)Kiriathaim.

²³ and ^(A)Kiriathaim, and Beth-gamul, and ^(B)Beth-meon,

¹⁷ with Heshbon, and all its cities that are in the tableland; ^(A)Dibon, and Bamoth-baal, and Beth-baal-meon,

¹⁹ and ^(A)Kiriathaim, and ^(B)Sibmah, and Zereth-shahar on the hill of the valley, ²⁰ and ^(C)Beth-peor, and ^(D)the slopes of Pisgah, and ^(E)Beth-jeshimoth,

³⁷ And the people of Reuben built ^(A)Heshbon, ^(B)Elealeh, Kiriathaim, ^38 (C)Nebo, and ^(D)Baal-meon (^(E)their names were changed), and ^(F)Sibmah. And they gave other names to the cities that they built.

Judgment on Moab

48 ^(A)Concerning Moab.

Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel:

⁸ and Bela the son of Azaz, son of ^(A)Shema, son of Joel, who lived in ^(B)Aroer, as far as ^(C)Nebo and ^(D)Baal-meon.

³ and ^(A)the Arabah ^(B)to the Sea of Chinneroth eastward, and in the direction of Beth-jeshimoth, to the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, southward to the foot of ^(C)the slopes of Pisgah;

⁴⁹ they camped by the Jordan from Beth-jeshimoth as far as ^(A)Abel-shittim in the plains of Moab.
