³⁰ “Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God: ^(A)Will you defile yourselves after the manner of your fathers and go ^(B)whoring after their detestable things?

¹² and because ^(A)you have done worse than your fathers, for behold, ^(B)every one of you follows his stubborn, evil will, refusing to listen to me.

^26 (A)Yet they did not listen to me or incline their ear, ^(B)but stiffened their neck. ^(C)They did worse than their fathers.

¹⁹ But ^(A)whenever the judge died, they turned back and were more corrupt than their fathers, going after other gods, serving them and bowing down to them. They did not drop any of their practices or their stubborn ways.

^51 (A)“You stiff-necked people, ^(B)uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit. ^(C)As your fathers did, so do you.

^32 (A)Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers.

¹⁴ but ^(A)have stubbornly followed their own hearts and have gone after the Baals, as their fathers taught them.

¹⁴ And behold, you have risen in your fathers' place, a brood of sinful men, to increase still more the fierce anger of the Lord against Israel!
