^5 (A)As for them, whether they hear or whether they refuse—for they are a ^(B)rebellious house—yet they ^(C)will know that a prophet has been among them.

^33 (A)And when this comes to pass—surely it will come—then ^(B)they will know that a prophet has been among them.”

^27 (A)But when I speak with you, I will open your mouth, and you shall say to them, ^(B)‘Thus says the Lord God.’ He who hears, let him hear; and he who refuses, let him refuse; for they are a rebellious house.

^22 (A)If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, ^(B)but now they have no excuse for their sin.

¹² And when you go into a household, greet it. ^13 (A)If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. ^(B)But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. ^14 (C)And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, ^(D)shake off the dust from your feet. ¹⁵ Assuredly, I say to you, ^(E)it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!

⁴⁶ Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, ^(A)“It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but ^(B)since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, ^(C)we turn to the Gentiles.

¹⁰ But whatever city you enter, and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say, ^11 (A)‘The very dust of your city which clings to ^[a]us we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that the kingdom of God has come near you.’ ^12 [b]But I say to you that ^(B)it will be more tolerable in that Day for Sodom than for that city.

^7 (A)You shall speak My words to them, whether they hear or whether they refuse, for they are rebellious.

¹⁵ For we are to God the fragrance of Christ ^(A)among those who are being saved and ^(B)among those who are perishing. ^16 (C)To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And ^(D)who is sufficient for these things? ¹⁷ For we are not, as ^[a]so many, ^(E)peddling^[b] the word of God; but as ^(F)of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ.
