⁵³ I will restore their fortunes, the fortunes of Sodom and her daughters and the fortunes of Samaria and her daughters, and I will restore your own fortunes along with theirs,^(A)

²⁵ Therefore thus says the Lord God: Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob and have mercy on the whole house of Israel, and I will be jealous for my holy name.^(A)

¹⁴ and I will restore the fortunes of Egypt and bring them back to the land of Pathros, the land of their origin, and there they shall be a lowly kingdom.

²⁴ On that day Israel will be the third party with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth, ²⁵ whom the Lord of hosts has blessed, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people and Assyria the work of my hands and Israel my heritage.”^(A)

²³ And even those of Israel,^[a] if they do not continue in unbelief,^[b] will be grafted in, for God has the power to graft them in again.^{(A) 24} For if you have been cut from what is by nature a wild olive tree and grafted, contrary to nature, into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these natural branches be grafted back into their own olive tree.

All Israel Will Be Saved

²⁵ I want you to understand this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not claim to be wiser than you are: a hardening has come upon part of Israel until the full number of the gentiles has come in.^{(B) 26} And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written,

²⁸ As regards the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but as regards election they are beloved for the sake of their ancestors, ²⁹ for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. ³⁰ Just as you were once disobedient to God but have now received mercy because of their disobedience,^{(E) 31} so also they have now been disobedient in order that, by the mercy shown to you, they also may now^[c] receive mercy.

3 ^[a]For then, in those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem,^(A)

⁶⁰ yet I will remember my covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish with you an everlasting covenant.^{(A) 61} Then you will remember your ways and be ashamed when you receive your older and younger sisters and I give them to you as daughters, but not on account of my^[a] covenant with you.^(B)

³⁹ But in the latter days I will restore the fortunes of Elam, says the Lord.

⁶ But afterward I will restore the fortunes of the Ammonites, says the Lord.^(A)
