¹³ The appearance of the living creatures was like burning coals^(A) of fire or like torches. Fire moved back and forth among the creatures; it was bright, and lightning^(B) flashed out of it.

⁵ From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder.^(A) In front of the throne, seven lamps^(B) were blazing. These are the seven spirits^[a](C) of God.

⁷ Their legs were straight; their feet were like those of a calf and gleamed like burnished bronze.^(A)

¹⁷ When the sun had set and darkness had fallen, a smoking firepot with a blazing torch^(A) appeared and passed between the pieces.^(B)
