³⁰ “Therefore, you Israelites, I will judge each of you according to your own ways, declares the Sovereign Lord. Repent!^(A) Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall.^(B)

¹³ “Then my anger will cease and my wrath^(A) against them will subside, and I will be avenged.^(B) And when I have spent my wrath on them, they will know that I the Lord have spoken in my zeal.^(C)

²⁰ Yet you Israelites say, ‘The way of the Lord is not just.’ But I will judge each of you according to your own ways.”^(A)

³⁸ I will sentence you to the punishment of women who commit adultery and who shed blood;^(A) I will bring on you the blood vengeance of my wrath and jealous anger.^(B)

“‘Then you will know that it is I the Lord who strikes you.^(E)

¹² And I saw the dead, great and small,^(A) standing before the throne, and books were opened.^(B) Another book was opened, which is the book of life.^(C) The dead were judged^(D) according to what they had done^(E) as recorded in the books. ¹³ The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades^(F) gave up the dead^(G) that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done.^(H)

¹⁹ I dispersed them among the nations, and they were scattered^(A) through the countries; I judged them according to their conduct and their actions.^(B)

²⁰ “‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says to them: See, I myself will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.^{(A) 21} Because you shove with flank and shoulder, butting all the weak sheep with your horns^(B) until you have driven them away, ²² I will save my flock, and they will no longer be plundered. I will judge between one sheep and another.^(C)
