²³ Every day during the seven days of the festival he is to provide seven bulls and seven rams^(A) without defect as a burnt offering to the Lord, and a male goat for a sin offering.^(B)

⁸ So now take seven bulls and seven rams^(A) and go to my servant Job^(B) and sacrifice a burnt offering^(C) for yourselves. My servant Job will pray for you, and I will accept his prayer^(D) and not deal with you according to your folly.^(E) You have not spoken the truth about me, as my servant Job has.”^(F)

⁸ For seven days present a food offering to the Lord.^(A) And on the seventh day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.’”

Balaam’s First Message

23 Balaam said, “Build me seven altars here, and prepare seven bulls and seven rams^(A) for me.” ² Balak did as Balaam said, and the two of them offered a bull and a ram on each altar.^(B)

⁸ First he said, “Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them”^(A)—though they were offered in accordance with the law. ⁹ Then he said, “Here I am, I have come to do your will.”^(B) He sets aside the first to establish the second. ¹⁰ And by that will, we have been made holy^(C) through the sacrifice of the body^(D) of Jesus Christ once for all.^(E)

¹¹ Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices,^(F) which can never take away sins.^{(G) 12} But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins,^(H) he sat down at the right hand of God,^(I)

¹¹ Include one male goat^(A) as a sin offering, in addition to the sin offering for atonement and the regular burnt offering^(B) with its grain offering, and their drink offerings.^(C)

The Festival of Tabernacles^(D)

¹² “‘On the fifteenth day of the seventh^(E) month,^(F) hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work. Celebrate a festival to the Lord for seven days. ¹³ Present as an aroma pleasing to the Lord^(G) a food offering consisting of a burnt offering of thirteen young bulls, two rams and fourteen male lambs a year old, all without defect.^{(H) 14} With each of the thirteen bulls offer a grain offering^(I) of three-tenths of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with oil; with each of the two rams, two-tenths; ¹⁵ and with each of the fourteen lambs, one-tenth.^{(J) 16} Include one male goat as a sin offering,^(K) in addition to the regular burnt offering with its grain offering and drink offering.^(L)

¹⁷ “‘On the second day^(M) offer twelve young bulls, two rams and fourteen male lambs a year old, all without defect.^{(N) 18} With the bulls, rams and lambs, offer their grain offerings^(O) and drink offerings^(P) according to the number specified.^{(Q) 19} Include one male goat as a sin offering,^(R) in addition to the regular burnt offering^(S) with its grain offering, and their drink offerings.^(T)

²⁰ “‘On the third day offer eleven bulls, two rams and fourteen male lambs a year old, all without defect.^{(U) 21} With the bulls, rams and lambs, offer their grain offerings and drink offerings according to the number specified.^{(V) 22} Include one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the regular burnt offering with its grain offering and drink offering.

²⁶ “‘On the fifth day offer nine bulls, two rams and fourteen male lambs a year old, all without defect. ²⁷ With the bulls, rams and lambs, offer their grain offerings and drink offerings according to the number specified. ²⁸ Include one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the regular burnt offering with its grain offering and drink offering.

²⁹ “‘On the sixth day offer eight bulls, two rams and fourteen male lambs a year old, all without defect. ³⁰ With the bulls, rams and lambs, offer their grain offerings and drink offerings according to the number specified. ³¹ Include one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the regular burnt offering with its grain offering and drink offering.

³⁵ “‘On the eighth day hold a closing special assembly^(W) and do no regular work. ³⁶ Present as an aroma pleasing to the Lord^(X) a food offering consisting of a burnt offering of one bull, one ram and seven male lambs a year old,^(Y) all without defect. ³⁷ With the bull, the ram and the lambs, offer their grain offerings and drink offerings according to the number specified. ³⁸ Include one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the regular burnt offering with its grain offering and drink offering.

¹⁵ Besides the regular burnt offering^(A) with its drink offering, one male goat^(B) is to be presented to the Lord as a sin offering.^[a](C)

The Passover^(D)

¹⁶ “‘On the fourteenth day of the first month the Lord’s Passover^(E) is to be held. ¹⁷ On the fifteenth day of this month there is to be a festival; for seven days^(F) eat bread made without yeast.^{(G) 18} On the first day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.^{(H) 19} Present to the Lord a food offering^(I) consisting of a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old, all without defect.^{(J) 20} With each bull offer a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah^(K) of the finest flour mixed with oil; with the ram, two-tenths;^{(L) 21} and with each of the seven lambs, one-tenth.^{(M) 22} Include one male goat as a sin offering^(N) to make atonement for you.^{(O) 23} Offer these in addition to the regular morning burnt offering. ²⁴ In this way present the food offering every day for seven days as an aroma pleasing to the Lord;^(P) it is to be offered in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering. ²⁵ On the seventh day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.

The Festival of Weeks^(Q)

²⁶ “‘On the day of firstfruits,^(R) when you present to the Lord an offering of new grain during the Festival of Weeks,^(S) hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.^{(T) 27} Present a burnt offering of two young bulls, one ram and seven male lambs a year old as an aroma pleasing to the Lord.^{(U) 28} With each bull there is to be a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with oil; with the ram, two-tenths;^{(V) 29} and with each of the seven lambs, one-tenth.^{(W) 30} Include one male goat^(X) to make atonement for you. ³¹ Offer these together with their drink offerings, in addition to the regular burnt offering^(Y) and its grain offering. Be sure the animals are without defect.
